The Air Force Tasers Fully Conscious Animals

Taser CEO and VP Caught Shocking Pigs in Secret Garage Experiments
Taser Research and Development
Vice President Max Nerheim testified in a sworn deposition in Arizona Superior Court in May that he and Taser International’s CEO, Rick Smith, repeatedly shocked live pigs with Taser stun guns on two separate occasions. PETA believes these tests violate the AWA and wrote a letter asking the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) to investigate the charges and, if they are confirmed, to prosecute Smith, Nerheim, and all others responsible to the fullest extent of the law.

The Raccoon Dog
Cruelty to Animals

It's not a Raccoon, it is a dog. A gorgeous and gentle animal.   It is horrifying to think of how some animals are suffering and enduring excruciating deaths, at the hands of humans, because of greed.  Is there really any way we can stop it, or control it?  I wonder everyday, do we have the ability to stop the cruelty and death of animals.  Animals raised only so they can be turned into fur coats, boots, and furry trims, and other items that humans can profit from.

Read this article on the "Raccoon Dog", an amazing little creature that many don't even know exists. The Raccoon Dog is raised only to be brutalized, tortured, and turned into fur coats - because they resemble a raccoon?   Click here for information and the article, it is not a heartwarming article, but it is very important that people educate themselves about this animal.   Please pass it on to your friends, and their friends, and so on - awareness will help to stop these horrifying acts.  I pray everyday that somehow we get closer to stopping the insane cruelty - to all animals.

----
Retailers the Humane Society said sold mislabeled raccoon dog fur included Lord & Taylor, BergdorfGoodman.com, and Neiman Marcus.com. Designers whose clothes were mismarked included Donna Karan's DKNY and Michael Kors. A coat from Oscar de la Renta advertised as raccoon had raccoon dog fur. A spokeswoman for Oscar de la Renta declined to comment.

You may be aware that many products claiming to be "cruelty free" or "not tested on animals" actually contain ingredients that are tested on animals. The alleged "cruelty free" claim often refers to the final product; however, the majority of animal testing occurs through the supply chain and therefore these products actually contain ingredients tested on animals. Similarly, some companies state that "we" do not test on animals, when in fact they merely contract "someone else" to do the testing. These kinds of labels and claims are often confusing, and misleading, to consumers.
