Neighbors on the Hill, 1957
Alice & Jerry Reading Program
Parallel 2nd Reader

A gorgeous copy of Neighbors on the Hill, an adorable Alice and Jerry book with charming stories and parallel 2nd reader in the this very well-known reading program.

This book has only one flaw, the title page was removed, the book is gorgeous otherwise.   Includes all words that were introduced and developed in the previous books and introduces only 124 new words throughout the stories.

The stories include: Dick and Nancy, their mother and Father, Dolly and Bill their two farm horses, Charlie, Jim, Mr. Banks, and Mother Phoebe Bird and her babies. Charming illustrations on each page of this very vintage book. An excellent book for reminiscing and home school.
