This is a charming Primer,  and in excellent condition for such a vintage reader. Jo-boy is a little boy, and the stories include his dog Spot, a brown Terrier.  Also in the stories is Jo-boy's sister, Patty, plus Mother and Father.

This Primer uses a total of 200 words.  No word occurs less than 5 times, for repetitive learning.

Charming illustrations by Rhoda Chase. The stories are equally charming.  Cute stories with pets and dolls.

VERY GOOD CONDITION - The covers are very good with light bumping, corners are good. Binding is good and strong. School stamp inside front cover, no names. Pages are very good with light use showing, with small amounts of light soiling. Illustrations are vivid and bright. End pages have small inch tear at binding, no tears found to story pages, no smells, no writing, no scribbling to pages. No missing pages. A charming vintage copy, an excellent book for collecting, reminiscing, and home school.
