The New We Work and Play is the second of three Pre-Primers in the Dick and Jane series and follows the 1st Pre-Primer, The New We Look and See. Using a total of 38 words, of which 21 are new in this book. Each of the Pre-Primers were written to use a gradual and repetitive introduction so children could retain new words and association. Very nostalgic and loved for its short sentences, adorable Sally Dick and Jane, Spot and Tim characters, and charming vintage water color illustrations.

VERY GOOD- CONDITION - The covers are good and bright, with creasing, small school stamp, and 10 cents, shown in cover photo. Original cloth binding is good, 1 inch wear spot to bottom. Johns name written in pencil to title page and back vocabulary page. No inner school stamps. Pages are very bright and clean, no writing, no page tears, no scribbling, no storage smells, and no missing pages. Colors are vivid. A very nice and nostalgic vintage 2nd Pre-Primer. Makes an excellent gift.
