The New We Work and Play is the second of three Pre-Primers in the Dick and Jane series and follows the 1st Pre-Primer, The New We Look and See. Using a total of 38 words, of which 21 are new in this book. Each of the Pre-Primers were written to use a gradual and repetitive introduction so children could retain new words and association. Very nostalgic and loved for its short sentences, adorable Sally Dick and Jane, Spot and Tim characters, and charming vintage water color illustrations.

Condition
GOOD CONDITION - The covers are good with average wear; edge rubbing and light chipping, creasing near binding, as well as some creative green color added to the cover text by a child. Original cloth binding is very good with a small quarter to half inch split from bottom. No school stamps, no names, no writing. Pages are bright with light soil to a few pages, no writing, no page tears, no scribbling, no storage smells, and no missing pages. Colors are vivid. Very nostalgic vintage book for reminiscing and home school.
