A first semester 4th grade reader, fabulous fun and adventure stories, in four sections with a glossary and suggested reading in the back. Times & Places uses 451 words not previously learned and each new word is used three or more times in this book. The majority of the new words learned will be repeated in the following book, More Times and Places. Of the 451 new words, 93 were previously taught in the book Just Imagine, the special transition reader.

VERY GOOD CONDITION - A 1st Printing, the covers are good, showing a little rubbing to corners and very light fray to corner and edge tips, light staining and light fading, no tears to fabric. Binding is good and strong. School stamp inside front cover with township (Edison) bookplate and six names written. Pages are good, clean and bright with light use showing and an occasional stray light pencil mark, no scribbling to pages, and no missing pages, the pages are quite nice. Colors are vivid. This is a charming and very nostalgic vintage copy, an excellent book for reminiscing and home school.
