Dick and Jane Books Vintage Readers

Just Imagine!, is a special book in the New Basic Reading Program. A transitional reader designed to meet the needs of children as they take the big step from primary to intermediate grades.

Just Imagine is a fluency reader. It can be read rapidly, just for fun. The stories are short and liberally illustrated. The vocabulary used is principally that of The New Basic Readers for the first three grades. The story plots are distinctly more "grown up" than those in preceding books, and each story is full of fast moving action.

Stories include Dick and Jane's favorite friends - Jack, Peter, Ann, Uncle Tim, John, Jean, Billy and Fats, Nick and Polly, and others.
