An adorable vintage Catholic Dick and Jane 1st reader - Fun with Dick and Jane, is the 1st Primer in the Dick and Jane series for the 1940's, and follows the 3 Pre-Primers; We Look and See, We Come and Go, and We Work and Play". Fun with Dick and Jane was given Ecclesiastical Approval July 9th, 1941.

This Primer was designed to fit the very early reading needs of children in Catholic schools who were ready to learn sentences - during the 1st semester of first grade. With 159 pages of adorable stories and charming watercolor 1940's illustrations. Beautifully illustrated on each page by well-known artists Eleanor Campbell and Keith Ward.
