This is a rare copy of the Guidebook for all three Pre-Primers of the 1950's. The New We Look and See, the first Pre-Primer, is the first book in the Dick and Jane series to introduce words, and follows the Pre-Readers that were picture books. Introducing just 17 words. The New We Work and Play is the second of three Pre-Primers and uses a total of 38 words, of which 21 are new in this book. The New We Come and Go, is the 3rd and final Pre-Primer and uses a total of 58 words, of these 58 words 20 are new in this book.

Very nostalgic, the THREE Pre-Primers and the Guidebook all in one gorgeous book! Still loved for their short sentences, adorable Sally Dick and Jane, Spot and Tim characters, and the many wonderful vintage water color illustrations.

VERY GOOD CONDITION - All photos are of the book listed. The covers are very nice with light shelf wear and rubbing to edges. Desk copy written to first blank page, no school stamps. Pages are very good, bright and clean with an occasional notation by the teacher to the margin, and a light smudge seen to about four pages. No page tears, no writing, no scribbling, and no missing pages. Colors are vivid. Page 31 of New Work and Play has a misprint in the page number, printed as 1, should be 31. Binding is good and strong. Super nice collectible copy, an excellent book for collecting, reminiscing, and home school.
